Day Three: Missing Moments

Shocker

It was after the Valentine's Day dance at the Sugar Shack; he and Blaine were cuddled on his bed thoroughly exhausted and sated. No one else was there: Burt and Carole were on a date and wouldn't be back until late tomorrow—the hotel room Kurt and Finn paid for for them would promise that—and Finn was going to back to Rachel's for the night. Kurt closed his eyes, sighed happily and snuggled further into his boyfriend's chest, smiling when he felt tired fingers softly play in his hair.

"I love you," he breathed.

He felt, rather than saw, Blaine's grin, "I love you too."

There was a small comfortable pause before the taller boy opened his eyes, he didn't want to do this—they were so comfortable—but they didn't keep secrets. They couldn't keep secrets, not unless they wanted to end up like all the other New Direction couples, with the exception of Mike and Tina of course.

So sighing, Kurt raised himself from his lover's arms, "I have to tell you something…"

Worried, Blaine sat up too, "What is it; are you okay?"

"I'm fine," he shook his head slightly, "but this is important and we don't keep secrets…"

At his boyfriend's encouraging nod he continued, "All week long…I've been getting little gifts…"

"From everyone in Glee," Blaine frowned.

"Not exactly…well, not at all…" he sighed again, clasped the raven haired boy's hand, squeezed it, "from a secret admirer…"

The shorter boy's breath caught, but Kurt plowed on, "I thought that the presents were from you," he explained, "that's the only reason I accepted them; I thought that you were being coy and silly and cute…"

"Who was it?"

They locked eyes, staring at each other for a moment before the taller boy moved forward to capture his lips; they were breathing heavily when they parted.

"Before I tell you," Kurt panted, "you need to know that I love you very much and that this doesn't change anything…"

The other boy nodded, "I love you too…"

The countertenor smiled and they shared a chaste kiss, before he whispered, "David Karofsky…"

"…e-excuse me…" Blaine froze, because…well this was a joke right?

Kurt's nod disproved that theory.

"He thinks he's in love with me…"

There was a small pause, before the shorter boy asked what he said in response; any nerves he had calmed when his lover answered immediately, "That I'm with you, but proud that he's come into his own."

He gave a small sigh of relief and pulled his slim, pale angel in to his arms; kissed him deeply, brought them down to lay on the pillows.

"I only told you," Kurt said when they broke away, "because we're so honest with each other…not telling feels like lying."

Blaine kissed his forehead lovingly, "Well I'm glad you did."

His boyfriend snorted, "No you're not."

"Well no," he chuckled, "but…"

"But…?"

"Well it's like the Hunchback of Notre Dame—the Disney movie, not the book; book's too sad…"

Kurt laughed and kissed his lover deeply, "We've got several more hours of alone time—"

He was cut off when his boyfriend's mouth demanded another liplock.
